Eddie Wexler (Michael O'Keefe) suffers from flashbacks to an alien abduction, which eventually drive him to suicidal behaviour. After checking himself into a mental institution with others suffering from similar problems, he begins to suspect that there is something more sinister going on at the hospital.

Plot[]
After flashbacks of an alien abduction drive him to the brink of suicide, Eddie Wexler (Michael O'Keefe) finds himself at a mental institute, where Dr. Sherrick (Stephen McHattie) is using a controversial technique to treat those who believe they have been abducted by extraterrestrials.
Eddie and some of the other patients are suspicious of Sherrick and his methods, which forces the patients to re-live their abductions in a memory chamber. Some even think that their abductors have infiltrated the institute. Eddie believes Sherrick is an alien hiding in human disguise, attempting to find out what his patients remember from their abductions.
Eddie grows close with Courtney, another patient. He attempts to leave the facility, but Dr. Sherrick intimidates Courtney into staying. She dies during her next session in the memory chamber. An enraged Eddie attacks Dr. Sherrick, killing him by throwing him down a stair case. He returns to the memory chamber, where he hallucinates an alien removing an implant from Courtney's neck.
For the deaths of Sherrick, and implicated in Courtney's, Eddie is placed in an institution for the criminally insane. Resigned to his fate, he waits for the aliens to come for him again.

- Footage of the aliens was later reused in "Dark Child" while one of the exterior shots of the psychiatric institution was later used in "The Inner Child".
