
Brad Wright (born May 2, 1961) is a Canadian television producer, screenwriter and actor. He is best known as the co-creator of the television series Stargate SG-1 (with Jonathan Glassner), Stargate Atlantis (with Robert C. Cooper) and Stargate Universe (also with Cooper) and as the creator of Travelers.
He has written scripts for several other television series including Neon Rider, Adventures of the Black Stallion, The Odyssey, Highlander and Poltergeist: The Legacy.
He wrote or co-wrote 15 episodes of the revival series from 1995 to 2000:

- "The Conversion" (based on the short story "Two Strangers" by Richard B. Lewis)
- "Quality of Mercy"
- "The Message"
- "The Voice of Reason"
- "Trial by Fire"
- "Inconstant Moon" (based on the short story by Larry Niven)

- "The Revelations of 'Becka Paulson" (based on the short story by Stephen King)
- "In Another Life" (with Naren Shankar and Chris Brancato)
- "The Vaccine" (based on a concept by Victoria James)
- "The Joining" (with Sam Egan and Jonathan Glassner)
- "Promised Land" (with Brad Markowitz)
- "Decompression" (with James Crocker)
After Sam Egan (who wrote or co-wrote 18 episodes), he was the series' second most prolific writer.
Wright contributed to six seasons, more than any other writer.
