Matthew Laurance was born on March 2, 1950 in Queens, New York, USA as Matthew Dyckoff. He is an actor, known for Eddie and the Cruisers (1983), St. Elmo's Fire (1985) and Duet (1987). He has been married to Shannon Criscillis since May 4, 2003. They have two children.

Identical twin brother of Mitchell Laurance.

He and Shannon Laurance have a son name Everett. Matthew lived in L.A. California for 20 years before moving to Durham. He is a sideline analyst on the "Duke Radio Network".

Appeared with identical twin brother Mitchell in a margarine commercial in the late 1970s/early 1980s. The theme of the ad was that the margarine couldn't be distinguished from butter, and the series of ads featured identical twins.

Matthew Laurance played the various versions of Stark in the 1998 Outer Limits episode "In Another Life" with his identical twin brother Mitchell Laurance. They were often on-screen together, as the various versions interacted with one another.
